Mabuhay, pronounced ma-BOO-high , is a word in the Filipino language, Tagalog.

Literally it means "Long Live". One might use it as a salute or as a greeting. For example, one might say "Mabuhay!" when welcoming a guest. It would also be appropriate as a toast, similar to the english word "Cheers!"
