This course material deals with general Security Awareness in both the Physical and Cyber worlds which we navigate on a daily basis. No prior knowledge of any security concepts is required to take this course; its sole purpose is to instruct individuals who are interested in improving the safety of themselves and those around them. The topics covered in the Physical Security portion of the course provides the student with concrete steps they can take to minimize their risks in common areas of their lives including parking lots, stores, and even in and around their home. The Cyber Security side of the course provides tips for staying safe online (for both singles and parents) and steps individuals can take to protect against identity theft.
